Slightly later than anticipated due to the fact I've had a crazy busy week buuuut just wanted to share my thoughts on the newest Regent street member - ARKET. Last Wednesday I was invited down to the brand spanking new store launch preview and after a fair few weeks of ooo-ing, ahh-ing and wondering just how much I was going to love the H&M groups latest venture, it's safe to say it did not disappoint.
The store itself is beautiful, before we even get started on the clothes. The merchandising is perfection with the socks, tees and jumpers lined up on shelving units in dreamy colour palettes, making for an OCD sufferers dream. It's minimalist but it has character, and I'd probably describe it as a cross between sister brands Cos and & Other Stories; price points are around the Cos mark too. It sells everything from Womenswear, Menswear and kids, to homewares, stationery, and even has a little café in there too! The clothes are wardrobe staples - think perfect stripe tops, chunky knits, pea coats and classic denim. Everything felt well-made and worth that little bit extra.
Warning: you won't enter and not want to leave with something...
As I'm sure you can imagine I absolutely HAD to try on approximately half of the store and probably wanted to buy that amount too, alas I practiced some much needed self restraint, only purchasing this dreamy silky daisy number. Well, at least for my fist time in there....
