It's my favourite season! The colours, oh the colours. Browns, tans, burgundies, reds burnt oranges and basically all of the muted Autumnal tones one can think of I will be sporting. I just love seeing the trees change and getting to crunch through all of the fallen leaves along the way. It's almost always wardrobe overhaul time for me too, the jumpers and coats come out and the pretty Summer dresses get tucked away. I wonder how long I can put off wearing tights and I re-assess what can be brought back out from last Autumn, where I need to invest and my general wants/ obsessions and themes (love a theme) for the cooler months ahead. October is cooler, but not freezing - perfect jumper/ blazer weather if you will. I may just be a teeny, tiny bit obsessed with blazers right now (and jumpers tbf but that obsession will be fully addressed in my next post!) Checked, plain, patterned and the most recent wardrobe addition in the form of this dreamy cord number. It's basically Autumn in a jacket and it was love at first sight. It's so Seventies/ Annie Hall i feel and can literally be thrown on over the plainest outfit for a little Seventies spruce. I have so many ideas for it too, mainly based around looking like a Werther's Original/ chocolate eclair/ seventies sofa, obviously. When I say I get my inspo from anywhere and everywhere, I mean it. But yeah, as we all know I love a bit of Seventies get-up and Autumn goes hand in hand with the era, so it's only right I should get the utmost wardrobe excitement at this time of year.
I'd aslo just like to take this opportunity to welcome my latest bag addition to the fam. Yes, I should be buying furniture and household goods given that I just moved flat a week ago however, I've wanted the Mansur Gavriel circle bag for SO long now and since they decided to bring out a smaller version with shoulder strap too well, I literally just couldn't not.
Stay tuned for more Autumnal ensembles than you can shake a stick at.
