Teddy coats are basically the next best thing to wearing your dressing gown in public, and I for one am ob-sessed with them. The first thing I do when I re-enter my house after work is head straight for my dressing gown (which, actually also happens to be a teddy coat for indoors with ears and everything. I know, so chic). I so am not about lounging in my clothes and love nothing more than slipping into something a little more comfortable upon foot through the front door. It's starting to feel like actual Winter now in London and there's been a fair few occasions this past week where I have just wanted nothing more than to wear my dressing gown to work, alas I'm not sure how well the teddy ears would go down in the office...
Now, I bought this Mango shearling dream about a month or so ago - it was love at first sight (obvs) - however since I already had basically the same vintage version at home my head won over my heart and I returned it. I couldn't stop thinking about said ted though and so I decided to be the super savvy shopper that i am and sell my vintage number on Depop, putting the funds towards buying back this bad boy, and guilt free. So here we are again little ted, it's love at second sight too. Note to my head: the heart always wins when it comes to sartorial decisions.
So I need not wear my dressing gown to work but will be sporting the next best thing...
