Five Faves: November

A little later than anticipated (howwww is it December already?!) but better late than never right? My top five beauty picks from November...

Glossier Cloud Paint

So if you have been living under a rock for the past month and are unaware - American cult beauty brand Glossier now ship to the UK (yayyyy!) and the news has thrown the British female (and some male for that matter) population into an absolute frenzy. So obviously I just had to place an order didn't I? Y'know, see what all the fuss is about. I ordered the cloud paint (AKA cream blush) in Puff and I absolutely LOVE it. I usually prefer a powder blusher but thought i'd give this a go and I am now most definitely converted. It's really well pigmented so a little bit goes a long way and it leaves your cheeks with a super dewy glow.

Glossier Boy Brow

Or should I say Boy wow?! This is hands down the best thing I've used on my brows, I'm pretty obsessed with it. Now for a girl with a full fringe that barely even bares her brows to the world i'm not that hot on doing much to them really, however they are a bit gappy and I like a full brow look (y'know, for the times when the wind blows my fringe up or I fancy parting the curtains for a nineties boy-band aesthetic...) so was keen to give this eagerly anticipated, hyped up number a go. Unlike other liquid eyebrow products i've used in the past, this really doesn't leave your brows feeling 'wet' - it dries almost instantly and leaves them looking perfectly preened (or perfectly un-preened in my case...). The brush is so fine and clings perfectly to all of the pesky hairs needing some control and direction in life, whilst also filling any gaps along the way. To be honest, as soon as Glossier launched in the UK I absolutely HAD to put an order in regardless of whether it was actually amazing or not, BUT glad I can now confidently confirm that both the boy Brow and Cloud paint are two firm favourites within my make-up bag - believe the hype!

Eyeko Bespoke Mascara

A few weeks back I got invited to create my own bespoke Eyeko mascara at Selfridges where I selected my formula and brush type. I always want both volume AND length so was advised to go for a slightly curved brush and recommended one of 13 formulas to do just that. Not only this but it came in a lovely box monogrammed with my initials too! I have been using this mascara day in day out since then and it really does make my lashes look super long and thick exactly as requested! Love a prod that does exactly what it says on the tin - thanks Eyeko :)

The Ordinary Serum Foundation

I had waited a while for this to come back into stock in my shade (2.0N Light Medium) and it was definitely worth the wait! I opted to go for the lighter of the two Ordinary foundations on offer as I prefer a lighter all-over coverage that you can build when necessary and I'm super happy with my choice. It's really weightless on your skin but still gives decent coverage without being too thick or cloggy. I'd say I have combination skin that tends to be more dry in the Winter (and oily in the Summer) and this formula seems to be working great and not drying it out too much which is perfect throughout the Winter months. The cherry on top of the cake is the fact that it's less than six english pounds - bravo Deciem!

Clarins Instant Light Lip Comfort Oil

With the freezing cold weather we've had in London of late, my lips have been feeling so dry and on the verge of chapping so this Clarins lip oil has been ideal in keeping them hydrated but without being heavy or sticky. It feels so lightweight on my lips and gives a nice subtle shine too, so perfect for everyday and super handy for your bag. It also comes in about four other colours too (not that they really show on your lips...) but I feel like I need to collect them all!

December will be my last five faves beauty post in this format, but instead I'll Just be dong more 'as and when' beauty focused posts rather than monthly round ups for you guys!

Feel free to let me know what you like/ what you'd like to see more or less of too!
