Recently I’ve become obsessed with shell/ pearl/ sea themed jewellery and scrolling through the ‘gram it seems I’m definitely not the only one. Adornig oneself in shells seems to be the latest trend, and whilst I’m not one for following trends, I am one for some pretty oceanic jewels so consider that bandwagon jumped upon. If nothing else, it’s a constant summer holiday, beachy reminder and can make the plainest of outfits feel jazzed up. It’s basically like having a holiday romance that you don’t have to say goodbye to.
I recently treated myself to the Wald Berlin Drop It Like It’s Hot necklace that I’ve been lusting over for weeks ever since spotting it on dream babe Lucy Williams and I’m so obsessed, it’s barely left my neck. Not sure if it’s the nineties nod or the fact that I probably had something just like this as a teen but it makes me feel really nostalgic. It is pricey however, but I’ve seen so many lovely affordable pieces of shell based jewellery on the high street too so thought I’d put together a little post rounding all of my favourite finds for all you mermaids out there!
Next I’ll be sporting tie-dye and dreading my hair....
