July on 35MM

July has been another busy month involving me running around like a headless chicken... however it has also involved many dreamy lazy days in the park as this is the hottest (for the longest) Summer we have had in the UK since I don't even know when. Not gonna lie I've definitely done a fair bit of moaning about how hot I am and how sick I am of being a constant sweaty mess buuuuut that's just standard British activity right? We're so very hard to please weather wise. I've been feeling a bit better in myself/ my head this month too and we're going to be moving in around six weeks so I'm really looking forward to that. As you may have seen over on my Instagram, I got a new point and shoot Olympus Trip film camera just from Depop for really cheap and this is the first lot of film I've had back from it. It's so lightweight and easy to use, and I'm super happy with how the photos have turned out!

Earlier in the month me and Fran were invited to the Papier Summer party at Clifton Nurseries which was so lovely and had many a photo op with all of the beautiful blooms and surroundings. I also went to Citadel festival with Festicket and took one of my best pals Sarah. It was one of the hottest days and we were sweating a very unattractive amount but we literally had the best day laughing, drinking and mooching around watching Leon Bridges and Tame Impala amongst others! I wore one of my recent fave purchases - this dreamy leopard Rixo number, paired with my Docs.

I also had my Mama down in London a few times as she works down here quite often which is so lovely. She came along to the Sanderson Summer party with me which was such a fun night and we managed to squeeze in a girls weekend full of brunching, cocktails, shopping and behaving like tourists - it was so good and so needed! We also popped along to Columbia Road flower market which we both absolutely love being such flower enthusiasts. I also treat myself to the dream Shrimps bag this month that I've been wanting for so long and I'm just completely obsessed!

July has seen me become a die hard podcast fan; I am completely obsessed with My Dad Wrote a porno - it's laugh out loud funny and if you haven't had a listen I'd highly recommend it! I've also been thoroughly enjoying Love Stories with Dolly Alderton (love everything she does tbh... books, podcasts, whatever) where each episode involves her questioning her guest on their life experiences with love of all kinds - a really lovely listen that is always a bit of an emotional rollercoaster. I also went to see Justin Timberlake at the O2 with Levi's and he put on an amazing show featuring so many of his golden oldies that took me right back! It's been a pretty exciting month for me work wise to be honest and I rounded it off doing an event in Sheffield with DKNY Fragrance before heading to Brighton for a night in the Artist Residence there with Trouva - a brand that I'm such a fan of so super excited to be working together :)

What I've been loving and wearing throughout July:

August is set to be another exciting month too, with another really great press trip coming up and a little holiday too! Hope you had a great month too guys!
