I have had a fair few messages over the last few weeks asking my thoughts on the Bottega Cassette so I thought i'd dedicate a post to sharing all my thoughts and opinions with you all in case you're wondering or looking to invest!
Quality
Unsurprisingly (and I'm sure very expectantly for the price tag) the quality of this bag is amazing. The leather is super soft and squidgy however doesn't seem to mark or scratch too easy at all which is great. The gold finish hardware has the branding engraved and the fastening is like a little clasp/ hook and all feels very solid.
Price
This bag firmly sits in the eye-wateringly expensive category at £2090 and whilst I do really love it, after having used it now for nearly a month and considering the fact that (in my opinion) it's more trend driven than classic, I don't think I would spend the money on it if I was in the market for a new investment handbag. I personally think there are better options out there if you're saving up to buy a special piece.
Style
I really love the weaved style of this bag however as it's not lined (which really annoys me) it has tiny little gaps inside and I just think for the price it should 100% have a lining. I mean, the gaps probably aren't big enough for much to fall through and it does have a zip-able inside pocked, but personally I just feel that it should be, even just to protect the super soft leather if nothing else. This is the caramel colour and it comes in 8 varieties but I definitely think this one (closely followed by the black) is my favourite. It can be used as a cross body, shoulder or clutch bag and I love the buckle detail too.
Hope that helps answer some of your questions and don't hesitate to drop me a message if there's anything else you'd like to know and I'll try my best to help!
